all for yarn &
yarn for all.
My name is Arynne, and I’m the creator of hazel’s yarn, an upcoming natural fiber yarn store, cafe, and workspace for fiber crafters of all ages and experience levels.
Buffalo has been needing a space for crafters to gather, create community, and be inspired, and my hope was to bring that space to life!
I will focus on sourcing small yarn brands, natural fibers, and those that are difficult to find in this area. This yarn store will highlight sustainability in every practice possible, from yarn sourcing and seasonal handcrafted cafe offerings, to fiber recycling and composting, we hope to foster the cycle from farm to garment.
Between a collection of beautiful yarns, a cafe full of house-made beverages, and a cozy workspace for crafting and hosting workshops, I hope to bring together a community of crafters who love yarn as much as I do!
This space is in honor of my grandma, who taught me to knit and sew, planting the seeds that grew into my love of making things by hand.
what is
HAZEL’S?
What started as a small gathering of fiber crafters, has quickly grown into a quest for a yarn store, and crafting space.
In March 2025, I began a small meet-up for fiber crafters called the “fiber flock”. I would find people knitting or crocheting in the cafe I worked at, or in various public spaces, and ask them if they wanted to join. The club quickly grew, and as of February 2026, has over 60 members!
I recognized a need, both for a space for fiber crafters to gather, but also a need in the Buffalo area for natural fiber yarns. With the closure of big craft stores nation-wide, and a desire for fiber crafters to have access to supplies and community, little seeds of ideas began to be planted. What sprouted was Hazel’s Yarn, a third space for fiber crafters!
